Kathmandu, Jan 4: The construction work of the restaurant inside the Narayanhiti Palace Museum has been stopped for now.
Following the oral instruction of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, the Narayanhiti Palace Museum and the Republic Monument Management and Operations Committee has written a letter to the B Management Company under the Batas Organization instructing them to stop the construction work immediately.
"As the news in the media has caused controversy, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has been informed to stop the construction work until further notice." Reads the letter. Gorkhapatra Daily had published news on this issue.
