By Prem Adhikari, Pashupatinagar (Ilam), Mar. 25: Durga Prasad Timsina of Mai Municipality-10, Ilam has received his citizenship certificate.
The District Administration Office (Ilam) provided citizenship to Timsina, who had returned home on Sunday after serving 40 years in prison.
Chief District Officer Dhruba Bahadur Khadka had handed over the citizenship to Timsina. He said that he was feeling happy after receiving the citizenship certificate.
Timsina, who was born in 2017 BS, did not have a birth certificate and citizenship until now.
As the citizenship certificate was necessary for the treatment, the DAO provided Timsina with the certificate.
