By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 22: The Standing Committee Meeting of the ruling CPN UML is going to be held today afternoon.
A Standing Committee Member Subash Chandra Nembang informed The TRN Online that the meeting is scheduled to be held at Baluwatar, the official residence of the Prime Minister at 4 PM.
It has been said that meetings will have discussions regarding the problem of the party that seen lately and its solution.
UML source said that issue of senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, who joined the opposition faction and not given a vote for the party's official candidate Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal' in the recently held national assembly election will also be a matter of discussion.
Today's meeting is likely to begin the process of punishing Madhav Nepal-led faction's leaders after the needed discussion. Besides that, it has been said that preparation for the coming election, which was slated by the president at the recommendation of the government will also be an issue of discussion.
