RJP in alliance with NCP for National Assembly Election

Kathmandu, Dec. 18:

Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) have decided to form an alliance in the upcoming national assembly election.

In a meeting held between the leaders of both the parties at Prime Minister's residence, Balwatar on Wednesday, seat for State 2 has been allocated, where, in the total of four seat, both the parties have taken two seats each.

NCP has taken two seats under women and Dalit quota while RJP has taken two seats under others, handicapped or indigenous quota.

Likewise, both the parties have agreed to work in close coordination in contemporary socio-political issues in the upcoming days.

Co-chairs of NCP, KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and RJP's coordinator, Rajendra Mahato have signed the agreement. 

NCP's member secretariat Ishwar Pokharel, Secretary General Bishnu Prasad Poudel and member of Standing Committee, Subash Chandra Nembang had attended the meeting

While board members Mahantha Thakur, Mahendra Yadav, Sarad Singh Bhandari and Raj Kishor Yadav from RJP were present in the meeting.
