Kathmandu, Jan 3: Supporters of suspended MP Reshma Lal Chaudhary, who is serving his sentence in Dilli Bazaar Jail, have reached the Election Commission to register a new party named Nagarik Unmukti Party. EC spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Poudel informed The TRN Online that Chaudhary's supporters have come to the commission for party registration.
"His supporters have come to the commission. The political branch is to register the party. The party will go into the process after registration," said spokesperson Poudel.
For the registration of the party, the supporters of Chaudhary have reached the office of the Commission, Kantipath, carrying placards and banners with the picture of Chaudhary. Chaudhary, the main accused in the Tikapur massacre, is serving his sentence in Dilli Bazaar Jail.
