Kathmandu, Feb 21: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has instructed the party rank and file to gear up for upcoming local level election. The local level election is going to be held on May 13 in a single phase.

In an intraparty circular, Prachanda directed to focus on the preparation for the upcoming election and to make the party organization vibrant.

Until the party's central committee meeting convenes and prepares a concrete action-plan, Prachanda asked those concerned in the party to take forward party's activities as per the instruction and to prepare a roster of candidates vying upto ward of local level.

Prachanda, also the former Prime Minister, has urged to give full shape to senior communist forums, advisor committees, councils and departments in all levels as per the party's statute. In order to streamline the preparation for the election, the party chairperson has directed for forming election mobilization committee comprising pro-party intellectuals, experts, leaders from professional organizations and organised members among others.

Prachanda has also asked to identify the prospective candidates who could positively influence in the locality to field in the upcoming local level election.
