How People Damage Liver

The liver is vital iron for us, which performs a huge number of functions. This is the largest gland for vertebrates, which is divided into two lobes and often suffers from the fact that we unknowingly consume certain foods that can damage it. Almost everything is in the know about the harm of alcohol to the liver, but what about sugar, vitamin A and soda?

Sugar is bad
Sugar is harmful not only for our teeth, but also for the liver. The fact is that one of the options for sugar (fructose) is used by the liver to synthesise fats. And if fructose is too much, then this leads to the accumulation of fat and liver problems. Even if you are not overweight, sugar is still bad for the liver - and this is another reason to limit your intake of sweets, pastries and soda.
Vitamin A is needed by our body - it is a natural antioxidant that is responsible for vision and bone development. We get it with food from fruits and vegetables, especially from orange, red and yellow. But if you are taking nutritional supplements, then increased levels of vitamin A in the body can be a problem for your liver. Therefore, before taking nutritional supplements or vitamin complexes, consult your doctor.
Painkiller risks
For people who experience regular pain, painkillers are a common part of the diet. Many take them almost uncontrollably even with mild headaches, and this is very dangerous for the liver. In particular, the paracetamol we are used to contains the substance acetaminophen, which damages the liver with excessive dosage. Be sure to specify the daily dose of the medicine and the maximum time for taking it before starting the course of treatment.
Trans fats are a generic name for a group of artificial fats used in foods and pastries. Scientists have found that the dangerous limit of trans fat intake is about 3 grams per day, and for good reason. Among other side effects, they affect the liver. Customs Union standards do not allow the presence of more than 2 per cent trans fats in margarines and other products, but it is better to carefully study the labels.

Drink moderately
It’s obvious that alcohol harms the liver, but how much can you drink without consequences? The problem is not so much in self-control as in the fact that many glasses and glasses fit more than the standard portion. Therefore, remember the following figures: 30 grams of pure alcohol for men and 20 grams of pure alcohol for women. Also remember: at least two for a week should completely abandon alcohol.
