Biratnagar, May 6 : Six persons receiving treatment at Koshi Hospital for the infection of coronavirus has been discharged today. Among 31 infected persons, six were discharged after recovery.    
    
They exuded happiness and appreciated Nepal and Nepalis for the amicable behaviour during the treatment. All of them are Indians. They also hoped that the remaining others would restore their health quickly with proper management and get discharged.    
    
The Indian nationals had come in groups for the religious activity in Nepal. When they were found infected with coronavirus, the State government here admitted them in the COVID-19 Treatment Centre of Koshi Hospital. They were brought here with special security from Bhulke of Udayapur district on April 17 and 18.    
     
The six Indian nationals were discharged after they were found negative for the COVID-19 in three rounds of swab tests via PCR method, said Hospital administration. The religious groups which had left the religious centre (Markaj) of Delhi on December 12, 2019 entered Nepal via Jogwani of India and reached Udayapur, visiting various places of Nepal.    
    
The discharged ones are Anus Jaidi, 30; Mohamad Ajij, 29; Mohamad Javed, 28; Mohamad Ahamad Saheb, 21; Mohamad Ajirwan, 34; and Mohamad Rasid, 26. All of them have normal health. Even after the discharge, they would be kept in isolation for two weeks at a Markaj of Biratnagar-15.    
    
After the discharge, Anus Jaidi said they got good treatment and found the medical persons friendly and helpful. They did not feel any discomfort during the treatment, he added, hoping that they would return India after the lockdown is lifted.    
    
Minister for Social Development at State-1, Jivan Ghimire, said he was happy that those found infected with coronavirus were discharged after recovery. He said it was the success of the joint efforts of Ministry and Hospital. It is the success of State-1 government indeed, he observed.    
    
Similarly, medical superintendent at Koshi Hospital, Dr Sangita Mishra, informed that those discharged today were cooperative during treatment and the remaining ones will undergo swab test next week.
