Kanchanpur, Nov 16: Nepali Congress President has sought an end to the violation of election code of conduct.
In his address to an election publicity campaign organised by the Nepali Congress at Punarbas municipality-3 today, the Party President and former Prime Minister expressed his concern over the use of government vehicles in the election publicity campaign. "This must be stopped."
He assured of infrastructure development at the locality if the NC candidate was given a winning vote. He took time to call voters to make party ward chair candidate Deep Tamang victorious in the election.
Meanwhile, he held a meeting with the party cadres at Chawanni Bazar of Beldandi rural municipality today. On the occasion, the former Prime Minister said the implementation of a postal highway had begun during his term and it was the responsibility of the incumbent government to complete it in time for the betterment of people.
He promised to cooperate with the government in development and good governance efforts if it (government) expressed the need.
Similarly, he visited the under-construction Kalika Temple at Belauri municipality-7 today itself.
