Gulmi, Sept 22 : At least three people died after a landslide buried their house in Gulmi.
Information Officer of the District Police Office, Puruswottam Pandey shared that Bhawana Pariyar, 21, Ganga, 14, and Jamuna, 14, died when the landslide buried the house of Tilak Pariyar of Resunga municipality-8, Thumka.
The landslide occurred after the incessant rain since Tuesday evening had buried the house when the three were asleep inside.
Locals with support from the Nepal Army and Nepal Police personnel recovered bodies from the debris. The bodies have been kept at Gulmi Hospital for post-mortem, police said.
Information Officer Pandey further shared that Tilak Pariyar, his spouse and another daughter remained safe in the incident and they have now been kept at neighbour's house, police said.
