By Tara Chapagain, Pokhara, June 18: Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel has obtained the vote of confidence.
He has received 31 votes.
Out of 59 members of the Gandaki Province Assembly, 31 cast vote in favour of Pokharel whereas 27 cast vote against him on Friday.
CM Pokharel who leads a coaltion government in the province received 15 votes from his own party, Nepali Congress, 11 from the CPN (Maoist Center), two each from Janata Samajwadi Party and Rastriya Janamorcha and one vote from an independent provincial lawmaker.
