Banepa, March 22 : A man and his son have died while his wife was injured in a road accident that took place at Bhaisepati in Banepa municipality-13. The accident took place on the Araniko highway his morning.
Min Bahadur Shrestha,35, was travelling in a motorcycle along with his wife Sunita Shrestha and five-year-old son Subin Shrestha when they were hit by a mini-truck (Ba. 5 Kha. 2390) coming from the opposite direction. Min Bahadur and his son Subin died during treatment while his wife is undergoing treatment at the Scheer Memorial Hospital in Banepa, according to police inspector Yogendra Timilsena of the Area Police Office Banepa. The Shresthas are residents of Rautamai rural municipality-4, Udayapur district.
The truck driver Laxmi Narayan Shrestha,33, of Khandevi rural municipality-7, Ramechap district has been taken into custody for necessary action, police said.
