Kathmandu, Sept 10: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested Bijaya Kumar Mahara, office head, and Megh Raj Kafle, official of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), red handed while taking Rs.46, 555 bribe with the service seekers.
Likewise, police officer Gamhira Shah was arrested red handed by the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) while taking Rs.5000 bribe from the service seekers.
Similarly, the CIAA filed a case against Abinaash Kunwar, land revenue officer of Kaski for taking Rs.59,000 bribe from service seekers.
The CIAA also filed a case against Suresh Subedi, immigration officer for providing visa illegally to a Saudi Arabian citizen Alzahrani Mohammed Hussain.
