By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 1: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has claimed that conspiracy was hatched at Balkot to crush his party.

"Plot was underway to end the existence of our party on February 13," he said, "Do not we know what conspiracies were made at Balkot?"

Chairman Nepal said so while speaking at a press meet on Tuesday here.

Balkot is the place where the private residence of KP Sharma Oli, Chairman of the CPN (UML), is located, and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba had reached Balkot to hold a discussion with Oli on ways to ensure smooth operation of the parliament.

He claimed all those conspiracies hatched for two weeks were foiled in a matter of a minute.

"The country has moved ahead. All plots have been spoilt," he said.

The Chairman of a party in the ruling alliance suggested KP Sharma Oli, Chairman of the main opposition CPN (UML) to stop making plots.

"I advise you to stop making conspiracies. May your wisdom improve. There is no point in cursing us. Please return from the wrong way," he urged, adding, "But, he does not seem to return at the moment. We can't shoulder an ox falling down the hill but just pray for its safety."

Chairman Nepal blamed that KP Oli was the first man to drag the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact into controversy.

Former Prime Minister Nepal noted that the interpretive declaration on the MCC was endorsed to clear the confusion and illusion with regard to the MCC.

He urged all those who view that the interpretive declaration is nothing to study it once.
