Janak Bahadur Budhamagar, candidate of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), has won the by-election held for the position of Ward Chair in Thwang Rural Municipality-1, Rolpa.
Budhamagar secured the position of Ward Chair by receiving 174 votes.
His closest competitor Kamal Bahadur Roka Magar of Nepali Congress (NC) received only 26 votes, informed Ramesh Prasad Gyawali, election officer for Rolpa.
