Kathmandu, Sept 6: Minister of State for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Dhan Bahadur Budha, who is currently in China, held meetings with the Chinese officials in Sichuan province on Thursday.
The Vice Chair of Lashan municipality in Sichuan province and his team called on Minister of State Budha, said the personal secretariat of the Minister of State.
Issues as mutual interests featured during the meeting. Minister of State Budha requested the Chinese officials to encourage Chinese people to visit Nepal for the success of the Visit Year 2020.
Protection of cultural heritages and tourism promotion in Nepal and Sichuan were also discussed.
Present on the occasion were Vice Chair of Lumbini Development Trust, Abadhes Kumar Tripathi; member of the National Assembly, Durga Upadhyay; Mayor at Tansen municipality, Ashok Kumar Shahi; Mayor of Ramgram municipality, Narendra Kumar Gupta; and senior medical officer at Lumbini State Hospital, Sagar Neupane, among others.
