48 schools selected for PERP

Tanahun, Feb 20: A total of 48 schools in Tanahun have been selected for the President Educational Reform Programme. Under the annual programme of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology for the current fiscal year 2078/79, these schools have been selected for the President Educational Reform Programme.

According to the Education Development and Coordination Unit (EDCU), Tanahun, 10 schools are selected for 2-room buildings, 22 schools are selected for 12-room buildings and 26 schools are selected for ICT lab management.

After getting budget for schools’ improvement stakeholders of schools become very happy. Ganesh Chandra Basnet, headmaster of Nirmal Higher Secondary School, Byas Municipality-1 said that he was happy after his school was selected for the programme.

Headmaster Basnet informed that his school is selected for the improvement of lab and technology at school. Basnet believed that the education can be effective, timely and can address the interest of children after making school technology friendly.

Binod Poudel, a teacher of Shiva Secondary School in Byas Municipality-10, Dumsi, said that all the students, teachers and parents were happy saying that now students can easily understand by watching videos while teaching using multimedia, said Poudel.

A total of 6 schools from Bhimad Municipality, 5 schools of Bandipur Municipality, 5 schools of Bhanu Municipality, 8 schools of Byas Municipality, 3 schools of Myagde Municipality, 4 schools of Abukhaireni Municipality, 4 schools of Rising Municipality, 5 schools of Shuklagand Municipalit 4 schools of Ghiring Municipality and 4 schools of Devghat Municipality are selected for the prgramme.
