Chipledhunga, June 18: Pokhara Metropolitan City has managed a separate quarantine for the women. Buddha Hospital at Ward No 3 of Metropolitan City has been changed into quarantine for the women coming home from abroad.

The hospital was left unused for long. It has 50 beds. The hospital was inspected by the officers from Metropolitan City, Deputy Mayor Manju Devi Gurung and Ward No 3 Chairperson Rabindra Bahadur Praju.

Deputy Mayor Gurung directed the subordinate bodies to prepare a 20-bed quarantine following the inspection. The quarantine facility should not accommodate the health workers and security persons, according to her.

Gurung further informed, "Eight women are coming to Pokhara from India. They need safe quarantine facility. So initiative is taken for it."
