Kathmandu, Oct 12: Chinese President Xi Jinping has arrived at Soltee Crown Plaza Hotel in Kathmandu.
After taking a short rest there, President Xi will go to meet President Bidya Devi Bhandari at the Office of the President in Sheetal Niwas.
Earlier, President Bidya Devi Bhandari had received Xi at Tribhuvan International Airport.
Similarly, Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, deputy prime ministers and cabinet ministers had welcomed President Xi at the airport and his delegation.
The Chinese president has arrived here wrapping up his two-day informal talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held in Chennai, the southern city of India.
After the bilateral meeting with President Bhandari, he will meet chairman of Nepali Congress and leader of the main opposition party Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Following the meeting, Xi is scheduled to participate in dinner reception at Soltee Hotel hosted by President Bhandari.
