Kathmandu, Sept 26: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has directed all ministers and secretaries to work in cooperation and coordination to bring visible progress for economic prosperity and development.
At a programme organised at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar on the review of the first two months achievement of this year's government's policy and programme, PM Oli asked the ministers and secretaries to ensure notable progress.He said, "Reasons should be clearly mentioned why projects have not been forwarded. Work load would double if activities have not been carried out in this first two months. Otherwise, annual goals will not be achieved. All should pay attention on it."
The PM Oli urged all to focus attention on significant programmes to contribute to development, economic progress as well as to give positive result and effect of change in the society. He also drew an attention to carry out right works on right time.
Saying the trend of providing contract to some contractors under political influence should be stopped, PM Oli urged to ensure satisfaction to the people by forwarding developmental activities in healthy and transparent way, keeping the nation in the centre.
On the occasion, Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers presented progress details as per the budget, programme and performance contract with concerned ministers.
