Kathmandu, April 4: Newly appointed General Manager of Gorkhapatra Corporation Lal Bahadur Airi assumed the office on Monday.

He was appointed as the general manager of the corporation by a meeting of the cabinet of the government of Nepal on Thursday.

Welcoming him to the corporation, Bishnu Subedi, executive chairman of the Gorkhapatra Corporation, said that the Gorakhpatra Corporation has got another professional and young colleague and would work with him for the betterment of the institute.

During the welcome ceremony, he said, "There has been a history of misunderstandings between the chairman and the general manager in the past, but we will not allow such a situation to happen."

On the occasion, the newly appointed General Manager Airi said that he would work hard to make all the employees of Gorkhapatra Corporation proud of their organisation.

Stating that he had planned to work in Gorkhapatra in the past, he said that now he has succeeded in reaching such an important responsibility as General Manager and everyone's support is needed for the improvement of Gorkhapatra.

On the occasion, the Acting Manager of Gorkhapatra Corporation Om Prakash Bhusal informed about the current situation of the Corporation.
