Kathmandu, Nov. 13 ; Following the repeated requests of senior leaders of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) to call the party’s Secretariat meeting, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the party’s chairman, has agreed to call the meeting for Friday.
The Secretariat meeting is scheduled to be held at 4:00 pm on Friday.
NCP Secretariat member and former Prime Minister Jhalnath Khanal said, “I have been informed that the Secretariat meeting has been called for tomorrow.”

They handed over a two-page letter to Prime Minister Oli demanding a meeting of the party Secretariat, discussion on the implementation of the Standing Committee decision and the status of the COVID-19 among other issues.
Following the same, Prime Minister Oli had given responsibility to party general secretary Bishnu Paudel to set the time of the meeting.
