Kathmandu, Dec 16 (RSS):
Nepali Congress (NC) parliamentarian Prakash Panta has registered a note of dissent against the proposal seeking permission to table the Bill Designed to Amend and Integrate the Laws Related to Formation and Regulation of the Nepal Special Service.
The proposal was registered in the National Assembly by the government recently. Panta, in his note of dissent, has mentioned that the Bill was capable of infringing the right to freedom of people guaranteed by the constitution of Nepal as the fundamental rights.
Furthermore, Panta argued that the Bill could also pose a threat to the privacy of people. He argued that the Bill was against the spirit of the fundamental rights ensured by our constitution.
