Kathmandu, Sept. 8: The Department of Information Technology has upgraded and integrated the mobile application for the local levels of the country.
The application (app) will allow citizens to get information about their local unit’s services, programmes and projects, acts and regulations, ward profile, important places and emergency numbers.
They will also be able to submit suggestions and complaints, express opinions and hold conversations with relevant personnel.
Users of the app will also receive landing messages and notifications about the current COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, they can conduct any service-related payment through the app itself.
The department has also unified the previously separate apps of the local levels into one single app. Before, all the local units had separate apps developed in the same template. But now, all of them have been integrated into this app and placed under different sections for the users’ convenience.
The app, available under the name “Local Level App” in Play Store (Android) and App Store (IOS), is expected to help maintain good governance at the local levels.
