Kathmandu, Sept 23: The ruling communist parties of Nepal and China have started finding out common basis of prosperity by jointly organizing ideological training for the first time.
The ideological training started from Monday in the presence of Prime Minister and ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) chair KP Sharma Oli, another chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and Chief of International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China, Song Tao, is the symbol of this.
Addressing the inaugural of the training, Prime Minister Oli said that trend of prosperity of China is sustainable, exemplary.
He said that the relationd between Nepal and China would be taken to new height for the prosperity of the country. The PM clarified that implementing the new constitution to institutionalize the achievements as well as to fulfill national campaign of 'Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali' was the main task of the present hour.
The two-day training would be focused on concept of Chinese communist party about the ideology of XI Jinping and ideological discussion between the two parties.
The programme has been organised on the eve of upcoming Nepal visit by Chinese President and General Secretary of Communist Party of China, Xi Jinping. A 14-member delegation led by Tao is now in Kathmandu to address the training as well as for the preparation of Nepal visit of the Chinese President.
Stressing the need of exchanging mutual cooperation and ideology, Prime Minister Oli said, "The Chinese leadership has made socialism more progressive. The credit of this goes to President Xi. "
He said that every country use Marxism in a constructive way. Extending best wishes on the occasion of 70th National Day of China, Prime Minister Oli reiterated Nepal's commitment to One-China Policy.
Likewise on the occasion, NCP Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' stressed the need for handing over the leadership to those who are able to win the heart of the people and maintaining discipline within the party.
Pointing out that cooperation and non-interference in country's internal affairs are the base of relationship, he said Nepal is committed to one-China policy, and that is specified in NCP's foreign policy.
Nepal could import capital and technology to the country's agriculture, industry and social sector from the China's belt and road initiative, he said.
Similarly, Deputy Prime Minister and NCP school department chief Ishwor Pokharel said ideological discussions between Nepal and China would additionally develop mutual relationship between the two countries. He referred to intellectual discussion being launched in the world on the model of socialism alongside Chinese characteristics.
