All united to protect national sovereignty: leader Mahato

Kathmandu, June 13 : Senior leader of Socialist Party Rajendra Mahato has said that the people from mountain, hill and plains are committed to protecting the territorial integrity and equally sensitive to the matter of sovereignty.    
While taking part in the clause-wise discussion on the Constitution of Nepal 2nd Amendment Bill, 2077 in the House of Representatives meeting today, leader Mahato showed his party's support to the Bill that amends schedule 3 of the constitution to include revised map of Nepal in the country's emblem.    
He added that despite his party’s support to the present Bill, there was reservation on some issues in the constitution. Leader Mahato however said only release of the revised map was not enough, diplomatic efforts were must.    
"Nationality does not belong to any class and caste, but to entire people. We must accept broader perspective of nationality that is based on both land and citizen's identity," leader Mahato viewed.    
He further demanded action against those who erased Limpiyadhura, Lipulek and Kalapani from country's map in the past.
