By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 11: The Krishna Mandir of Patan used to observe a throng of Hindu devotees every year on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, an annual festival of commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna.
But this year, the Krishna Mandir remained closed due to the COVID-19 scare. The Mangal Tole Sudhar Committee and Lalitpur Metropolitan City had said that the temple would not be open for anyone as the threat of virus transmission was higher in crowded places, by jointly issuing a press statement.
However, some devotees visited the temple premises to worship Lord Krishna from outside.
