Kathmandu, July 30 : An aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation carrying 238 Nepalese Army peacekeepers has left for Juba in South Sudan.    
The peacekeeping mission has taken place under the United Nations Mission in South Sudan programme. The wide body A330 aircraft will transit in Muscat of Oman.    
NAC said 250 Nepalese Army personnel who were stranded due to the lockdown returned Kathmandu on Wednesday night from Juba. The national flag-carrier had operated chartered flights to the Central African Republic and Mali on July 8 to take the Nepal Army peacekeepers.    
Six international flights are being operated today. Korean Air will conduct a charatered flight to Kathmandu from South Korea today while Cathy Dragon will operate a flight from Hong Kong and Asian Air from Incheon of South Korea to Kathmandu.    
Also today, Himalayan Airlines will operate a flight to Kunming and two flights to Kuwait.    
Meanwhile, NAC has brought home Nepali students from Bangalore via a rescue flight. It said this was the first rescue flight to be operated from India. Eighty Nepali students in Bangalore and nearby areas were repatriated home via this flight, the NAC stated in a press release.
