   Jin Air will be making Incheon-Kathmandu chartered flight on June 30

Seoul, June 23 :  The South Korea-based Jin Air will be making its first flight to Kathmandu. It is scheduled to make a up-down chartered flight on the Incheon-Kathmandu route on coming June 30.    
It said the process for the flight permission has already reached the Nepal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Nepali Embassy in Seoul. Korea-based two travel agencies Nepal Tour Company and the Link Asia Tours will be arranging the flights in coordination with the Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Korea and the Embassy .    
The airlines is charging 700 US dollar for the on-way flight ( Korea to Kathmandu) while the fees is 750 US dollar per passenger for those wishing to arrive Korea from Nepal. The travel fees is relatively low-cost than of two charted flights that flew on Korea-Kathmandu-Korea routes previously as passengers were charged 1,250 US dollar for the one-way travel.    
As per the schedule, the Jin Air will leave for Kathmandu from Inchon at 1:30 pm as per the local (Korean) time and will land at TIA at 4:55 pm as per the Nepali time. The departure from Kathmandu has been fixed for 6:55 pm same evening.    
The Air's second flight is likely to be on July 5.    
It may be noted some 4,500 Nepali youths already having their visa terms expired have got stuck here due to the suspension of flights for the past three months owing to the coronavirus pandemic . Besides, over 1,500 Nepali who went homes on holidays before the lockdown are waiting for their travel back to here.
