By Siraj Khan, Nepalgunj, Feb. 13: Some 70 family members of the martyrs and the people made to disappear have been felicitated on the occasion of the 27th People's War Day here at Sonari Rural Municipality in Banke district.
Minister for Youth and Sports Maheshwar Gahatraj 'Athak' honoured the family members of the martyrs and the disappeared by offering them shawls.
On the occasion, Minister Gahatraj pledged to work keeping in mind the sacrifice made by the martyrs and the contribution of the disappeared persons.
He said that CPN (Maoist Center) has been struggling continuously for the rights of the people.
Cultural performances of different communities were also presented during the programme.
