Kathmandu, Oct. 9: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has instructed all the ministers to work as per the public aspirations.
Speaking at the first complete meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers (OPMCM) in Singha Durbar Friday evening, Prime Minister Deuba directed all the newly appointed ministers to work as per the expectations of the people with enthusiasm and sincerity.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Deuba also wished successful tenure of the newly appointed ministers, said Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki after the meeting.
Talking to journalists, Minister Karki said the first full Cabinet meeting decided to give the responsibility of the government spokesperson to Minister Karki himself.

Similarly, the Cabinet meeting decided to approve the criteria 2078 prepared for making public expenditure economical and effective and to reorganise the different committees of the Cabinet.
Meanwhile, the government spokesperson said that the newly appointed Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gajendra Bahadur Hamal was appointed by Prime Minister Deuba himself on behalf of the Nepali Congress.
He said that there was no truth in the media reports that Hamal’s appointment was linked to Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana.
Spokesperson Karki added that Hamal had played an important role in Nepal’s democratic movement.
