Kathmandu, Dec 1 : The release date of the film Mantra starring Saugat Malla, Buddhi Tamang and Dia Pun has been announced along with the poster.
Screenings had been delayed due to the COVID-19 and lockdown.

The film is scheduled to be released in the country on February 11 next year.

Gobind Shahi is the distributor of the film made under the banner of Gorkha Siranchok and Liglig Kot Films.

The production team has claimed that the film, which captures the beautiful scenes of the Himalayan region, has become an organic Nepali film.

Director Khil Bahadur Gurung said that the film was shot with great effort after reaching the base camp of Manaslu Himal at an altitude of over 5100 metres.

The lead actors Saugat Malla, Buddhi Tamang, and Dia Pun have been featured in the public poster.

The film unit has said that the film is based on the story of the Manaslu area of ​​Gorkha.

The production team is confident that the scenes of the film, which was shot for the first time in the Manaslu area, will win the hearts of the viewers.

Scenic views of Chum Nubri Sama village, Birendra Lake, and Pungin Gumba in Gorkha district have been captured.

Directed by Khil Bahadur Gurung, the film tells the story a Himalayan love story .

Saugat and Diya have shared the screen for the first time through this movie.

The film also stars Namita Ghising, Bir Bahadur Lama and Pasang T Sherpa in the lead roles.

Rabi Raj Karki, Suresh Karki and Subha Shrestha have invested in the film whereas Debendra Manandhar as the executive producer.

Written by Samten Bhutia, the film features music by Santosh Sunar, cinematography by Sanjay Lama, editing by Mitra De Gurung and background music by Sujil Karmacharya.

Along with the promotion the production team has informed that the song included in the movie and the trailer of the movie will be made public in a few days.
