Selection for Mr. Nepal begins

Kathmandu, Mar. 17: Process to select Mr. Nepal -2022 has begun.
Organiser Next Models Nepal has begun the preliminary audition of the contestants since Saturday.
According to the organisers, the audition will continue till March 26. So far, more than 100 men have been auditioned for the competition and a few of the contestants have also been selected, informed the orgranisers.

The organisers are planning to make public the names of all selected contestants after holding the final audition on March 26.
Mr. Nepal, a men's competition, organised by Expose Nepal, will be conducted by Next Models Nepal from this year.

Young people aged between 18 and 32 year are eligible to participate in the competition. According to the organisers, only Nepali citizens measuring above 5 feet 8 inches can participate in the competition.

The winners of local beauty pageants are also allowed to participate in the audition. The competition is organised with the aim of sending Nepal’s participant in Mr. World.


The winner of the competition will have the opportunity to participate in Mr. World 2023 and act in various brands, including brand ambassador, face of brand, advertisement, music video and film. The winner will also receive Rs. 500,000 a prize.
The competition will be organised with the aim of attracting talents from all over the country.

Those selected for the final competition will be trained in more than a dozen subjects, including swimming, football, rock climbing, social work, short hiking, catwalk, personality development and public speaking.
Prashant Tamrakar, Malvika Subba, Rojin Shakya have trained the contestants. Prashant Tamrakar is the chorographer of the competition as well.

Prashant Tamrakar, Malvika Subba, Rojin Shakya, Ravi Dhamla, and Mr. Nepal winner Dr. Santosh Upadhyaya are the judges of the selection process.
The competition will be held in the last week of April.
