Musicians to receive Natikaji National award

Kathmandu, Dec. 20: Musicians, who have made special contribution to the field of Nepali original songs and music, will be presented Natikaji National Honour and Award.
The award was announced at a function held in the capital on Saturday on the occasion of Natikaji Shrestha’s 97th birth anniversary.

A meeting of the Natikaji Memorial Society held on December 17 decided to honour and award the musicians for their contribution to the development of Nepali music, according to the society.
According to the society’s chairman Shambhujit Baskota, Nupur Banerjee Bhattacharya will be awarded the Natikaji National Distinguished Honour-2077.

Similarly, Natikaji National Special Music Award – 2077 will be presented to BB Thapa (composition), Narayan Dash Karki Dhali (instrumental), Shila Pant (composition), Sitaram Pokhrel (singing), Pradip Upadhyay (sound engineer), Kunti Moktan (singing), Prabhu Dhakal (Classical music), Haribhakta Budhathoki (composition), Rajkumar Shrestha (music), Shital Kadambini (composition) and Shahdeb Dhungana (composition).
Similarly, Shiva Pariyar, Nisha Deshar, Santosh Shrestha and Arun Tiwari will be presented Natikaji National Music Award-2077.

Likewise, Arjun Pokhrel, Sindhu Malla, Ajar Jangam and DP Dahal will be decorated with the Natikaji National Talent Award.
Similarly, Amrithira Tuladhar Yogi will be given Natikaji National Classical Music Award, Alice Karki Dhali will be presented Natikaji National Music Arranger and Instrumental Award, Krishna Kandel will be awarded Natikaji National Folk Music Award and Bijay Ratna Tuladhar and Diwakar Mainali will be awarded Natikaji National Art Journalism Award.
