By Mukunda Gaire, Kathmandu, July 4: The meeting of three Chief District Officers of Kathmandu Valley is going to be held today at 3 PM.
According to Prem Prasad Bhattarai, CDO of Bhaktapur, the meeting will take the decision regarding removing or continuing the odd-even system on Public transportation. With the decision, the ongoing prohibitory order will be extended for one more week.
He said that the meeting is likely to take the decision of resumption of microbus and tempo. The previous meeting of CDOs had decided to allow public vehicles having more than 25 seats, by following an odd and even number basis.
It has been said that long route vehicles won't be allowed at the earliest.
With a view to check the spread of COVID-19 as the cases grew alarmingly, the prohibitory order which was enforced since April 30 and then extended a couple of times is ending tomorrow night.
