Kathmandu, Nov 22: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) is taking stern action against black marketers who artificially create shortage of cooking gas.
The NOC decided for the stern action after receiving several complaints regarding the shortage of gas supplies in Kathmandu Valley and other parts in the country.
NOC Director Birendra Goit shared 40 thousand metric tonnes of cooking gas is supplied in the country though the demand is only of 38 thousand tonnes.
However, artificial shortage was reported to the NOC.
