Rs. 20 million provided to Nepal Police Hospital

Kathmandu, Apr. 11: Families of former and serving police officers have provided Rs. 20 million as assistance to Nepal Police Hospital, Maharajgunj. According to the Police Headquarters, Inspector General of Police Shailesh Thapa Kshetri handed over a cheque to Additional Inspector General and chief of the Hospital Asha Singh.

Visiting Consultant Dr. Bikal Ghimire and the Metropolitan Armed Police Force, Maharajgunj were awarded certificates and shields for their significant contribution in the service delivery of the hospital.
The amount was provided on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of Nepal Police Hospital, Maharajgunj, on Sunday.
Inspector General Kshetri also inaugurated the former police officers’ waiting room built on the hospital premises.

IGP Kshetri has also unveiled the annual souvenir 'Hospital Mirror 2078' and Nepal Medical Journal, which includes various activities and health related articles of the hospital.
Letters of appreciation were presented to the police personnel who have served the hospital for 25 years.
