Arghakhanchi, Oct. 6: The rock garden in Dibharna, Sandhikharka Municipality-11, Arghakhanchi, is an idyllic tourist destination. Yet, the very thing it lacks is tourists.
The rocks here are completely untouched by man; they have been solely sculpted by nature.

There is greenery all around and the weather is cool and calm. But the place hardly sees any visitor because of a lack of promotion.
Sandhikharka Municipality also acknowledged that the place had not been marketed properly and vowed to change that. Narayan Aryal, chief administrative officer of Sandhikharka, said that the municipality had formulated a master plan to develop and promote the garden.

Dhurba Acharya, chairman of Ward No. 11, opined that the natural rock garden could serve to boost tourism in the entire district. “Even now, when there is no promotion, people from inside Arghakhanchi come to visit the garden every day,” he said, adding, “This garden can become a huge attraction if advertised nicely.”
The locals told The Rising Nepal that bringing tourists in the area could serve to boost their livelihoods as well.

Kamal Prasad Bhusal, mayor of Sandhikharka Municipality, said that the local government was continuously working to bring tourists to the rock garden. Parts of Sandhikharka Municipality, Bhumikasthan Municipality, Malarani Rural Municipality, Panini Rural Municipality, Chhatradev Rural Municipality and the districts of Palpa and Pyuthan are visible from the Rock Garden.
