By A Staff Reporter, Chitwan, Jan 17: At least 32 tourists were injured when a tourist bus hit a truck moving in front of it on Friday morning at Ram Nagar, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1.
Of the injured, 21 are Chinese tourists.
According to Chitwan District Police Offie, the tourist bus with registration number Ba 1 Pa 783 knocked the truck with resigtration number Lu 2 Kha 3305 from behind. After hitting the truck, the deflected bus had also struck a house at the road side and injured a woman. Both the truck and the bus were heading to Narayangadh.
The injured are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital, Chitwan Medical College and Old Medical College in Chitwan. Of the injured, condition of some is critical according to the police.
