Clash between police and anti-MCC protestors (Photo feature)

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb. 20: New Baneshwor area of the Capital City remained tense today as the clashes erupted between the police and the demonstrators protesting against the tabling of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact.

The clash occurred as the protesters tried to enter the prohibited area and resorted to pelting stone at the police while the police responded with tear gas, baton charge and water cannon.
