School teacher arrested for sexual harassment charge

Chitwan, Mar. 21: The Chitwan police have arrested a school teacher on a charge of sexually harassing a girl. Suraj Lamichhane of Madi Municipality-5 in Chitwan district, who teaches at Someshwor Secondary School in Madi, has been accused of sexually abusing a ninth-grader at the same school.

She is 15-year-old. Deputy Superintendent of Police Narahari Adhikari said investigations into the case were underway.
