Marigolds blooming in Ichangu Narayan farms as Tihar is around the corner (Photo Feature)

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 10: As Tihar, the second biggest festival of Nepali Hindus, is around the corner, the farmers of Ichangu Narayan have been busy plucking the marigold flowers to make garlands.

Owing to the threat of the spread of novel coronavirus, not much fanfare for Tihar, the festival of lights and colours, has been observed this year.

Here are some photos captured by our photojournalist Sujan Gurung of farmers at Ichangu Narayan plucking marigold and Globe Amaranth (Makhmali) to sell garlands.
