Stampede at Niglashaini Bhagawati temple in Baitadi

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 13: A stampede has occurred at the Niglashaini Bhagawati temple in Baitadi, where a large number of people gather on the occasion of Maha Asthami, the eighth day of Bada Dashain, especially for sacrificing animals in the name of the goddess.

According to RSS, the sudden rush of people in the crowd took place while the sacrifice of animals such as buffaloes and goats was going on. Details of any injuries are awaited.
