Kutuma Kutu becomes most watched Nepali song

By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, June 3: Famous Nepali song “Kutuma Kutu” has become the most popular Nepali song on YouTube.

The song “Kutuma Kutu” from the Nepali film “Dui Rupaiyan” has set the record of the most-viewed Nepali song on YouTube. The song ‘Kutuma Kutu” released on May 28, 2017, has been viewed on YouTube over 150 million times on YouTube as of Thursday.

With that, this song has created history becoming the first Nepali song to be viewed over 150 million times on YouTube.

Rajan Raj Siwakoti has written the lyrics and composed the music of the song. Rajan Raj, Rajan Ishan, and Melina Rai have given the voice in the song.

Popular actress Swastima Khadka is featured in the video of the song. Along with actress Khadka, lead actors of “Dui Rupaiyan”, Nischal Basnet, and Asif Shah are also accompanied in the video of the song.

Likewise, singer Tika Parsain’s song “Maya Luki Luki” has become the second popular Nepali song, which has been viewed on YouTube over 106 million times as of Thursday.
