Houses to be ready next month for 25 poor families

Under the government’s Janata Awas Karyakram (People’s Housing Programme), 25 marginalised poor families of Ward 2 of Kanepokhari Gaunpalika in Morang district are set to receive free houses next month.

People compelled to overstay in quarantine due to delay in PCR test of those who tested positive in RDT

"It has been almost a month since they came to the quarantine for staying. We have not been able to send them to their homes due to delay in getting the report," said Bir Bahadur Saud, ward chair of Mellekh RM ward 4 from where swabs of 99 people have been collected and sent for testing. Local levels are having difficult time to manage the quarantine for not getting the PCR report in time.
