COVID-19 recovery rate increases, fatality declines

Recovery rate of COVID-19 increased to 80.2 per cent on Tuesday. With 6,896 recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours, recovery tally has reached 454,344. According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), among 17,147 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, 5,285 persons were found infected with COVID-19, informed the MoHP in its regular press briefing today.
