President's call for special attention to DRR   

 President Bidya Devi Bhandari has urged the government to give special attention to search and rescue of those affected by floods, landslides and inundation, and in the post-disaster relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction works. She has also called for special focus on preparedness for risk reduction.

Madhyapur launches mass antigen tests today

Madhyapur Thimi Municipality of Bhaktapur is conducting mass antigen tests on 10,000 people of nine wards on Saturday simultaneously. The test is being planned by the municipality and managed by the Nepal Korea Friendship Municipality Hospital, said Mayor Madan Sundar Shrestha.

The government, in its budget speech for Fiscal Year 2021/22, has stated that it will declare every local level Tuberculosis (TB) free in next two years.
