Legal reforms must to control banking malpractice, says Governor Adhikari

Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Maha Prasad Adhikari has said that the legal provision needs to be reformed to control technology-based banking malpractice. Addressing a programme on 'Investigation, Prosecution and Supervision of Banking Misconduct organised by NRB' on Friday, he said that the recent trend of banking malpractice has added to the challenge.

Minimum salary of migrant workers rises to 1,000 riyals in Qatar: 4.5 lakhs Nepali benefited

Airlines hike fares

Citing the hiked price of aviation fuel, the Airline Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN) has increased the airfare for domestic flights. The new move, which came into effect on Saturday, has upped the price of airline tickets by Rs. 5 to 90 depending on the flight duration.
