Comedy serial ‘Rajaram Niwas’ to go on air

A new Nepali family comedy drama Rajaram Niwas has been made. Nawal Nepal has directed the comedy serial which revolves around the house of popular comedian Rajaram Poudel. It is said that the serial has portrayed comedian Rajaram Poudel as a retired government employee, who is greedy in nature.

Selection for Mr. Nepal begins

Process to select Mr. Nepal -2022 has begun. Organiser Next Models Nepal has begun the preliminary audition of the contestants since Saturday. According to the organisers, the audition will continue till March 26. So far, more than 100 men have been auditioned for the competition and a few of the contestants have also been selected, informed the orgranisers.

NOC to suffer Rs. 10.60bn loss a month

The state-owned petroleum supplier - Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), has projected its monthly loss at Rs. 10.60 billion from the sale of petroleum products. Owing to significant price hike of petroleum products in the international market, monthly loss on the sale of petroleum products of the NOC has been rising and will reach Rs. 10.60 billion, said Binitmani Upadhyay, spokesperson of NOC, on Wednesday.

Number of tourists increasing at Shukla Phanta

The number of tourists visiting the Shukla Phanta National Park in Sudurpashchim Province has started increasing – raising hope that the region’s tourism stifled by the COVID-19 pandemic may be regaining momentum. “With the coronavirus pandemic subsiding, the number of visitors has started going up,” Kishor Kumar Mehta, chief conservation officer at the national park, said. “But it’s not much. Many of those coming are domestic tourists.”
