Tourism minister Yogesh Bhattarai tests positive for COVID-19

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai has been infected with the novel coronavirus. Bhattarai through his official Facebook page said that he had tested positive for COVID-19 in Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test done on Saturday. "I was feeling feverish since Friday," he said.

2,672 new cases of COVID-19 found in Kathmandu Valley in last 24 hours

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, of the total new cases in the Valley, 2,100 new cases of COVID-19 were found in Kathmandu district, 369 were detected in Lalitpur and 203 cases were recorded in Bhaktapur.
